1. Who we are

Saga Markets ApS (“SAGA”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are a company registered in Denmark.

2. What we collect

We only collect what you give us, through one of two forms on this site.

Waitlist. Your email address, the date you signed up, and your consent record.

Job applications. Your name, email address, any link you provide, your message, the role, and your consent record.

We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not buy or sell personal data. We do not currently use third-party analytics.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

Waitlist. To send you launch updates and early access, on the basis of your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). We use double opt-in: you confirm your email before we add you.

Applications. To assess your application and contact you about it, on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in hiring (Article 6(1)(a) and (f)).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Who processes it

We keep our processors to a minimum. Your data is handled by:

• Resend - storing your email on our waitlist and sending you our welcome message and any future updates.

Each acts as a processor under our instructions, under a data processing agreement. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, it is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

Waitlist data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist purpose ends. Application data is kept for the duration of the hiring process and a reasonable period after, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct it if it is wrong.
• Have it deleted.
• Restrict or object to how we use it.
• Receive it in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.

To exercise any of these, email privacy@saga-markets.com. You also have the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

7. Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. We store a single setting in your browser to remember your light or dark theme preference, which stays on your device and is not sent to us.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the product develops. When we do, we will change the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear.
